Happy Sunday friends! I’m excited to share a recipe with you today that has been in my family for a long time. This Classic Broccoli Salad recipe is a dish that my mom has been making since I was a little girl. It is our families version and my personal favorite version.

Our version is loaded with dried cranberries, honey roasted peanuts, red onion and lots of chopped bacon. The dressing is sweet and tangy and is made by mixing mayo, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper together. This side dish is super easy to throw together last minute and is great for those potluck dinners when you aren’t sure what to bring!

Tips & Tricks:
- If you or someone in your family has a peanut allergy, substitute the peanuts for sunflower seeds instead. Growing up, I remember my mom using both kinds of nuts depending on what she had on hand.
- I think this salad tastes best when it’s cold and has sat in the fridge for a couple hours before serving. I suggest letting it chill in the fridge for 2 hours or so.
